I think it should cepend on the type. Special units definately, Standard units I am not sure.

Sounds fair enough, then scenario designers can add if they like, all upper echelon have them, they can easily delete from the formations, but adding sometimes is very time consuming!

Mike, this would be my 0.02 as well. Having them available in OOB and then opting to not use them in a scenario is way easier than adding them separately. If in doubt just add them [:)]

DukeUgrad1976 -> Korean War Mod - error code 486 matter (12/14/2014 9:41:02 AM)

JTCS - Korean Conflict followers - I have Win 8.1 OS system which functions properly for RS, WF, & EF ver 2 but Korean mod (installed correctly as I get the Main Menu screen for selecting relevant scenarios) generates error message (code 486) for contacting Matix Games Support when attempting to start new scenario. Is there a map related issue involved ?

Warhorse -> RE: Korean War Mod - error code 486 matter (12/14/2014 11:07:50 AM)

Hi, this is a registry error. Would you please take a screenshot of your windows explorer showing where you have it installed? It needs to be Within the Matrix Games John Tillers installation. I'm the creator of the Korean War Mod, so I will do my best to get you going here!! You can email me the screenie if you like.

Warhorse -

I d/led from your DropBox account. While all the editors work, when I select a scenario to play and hit "OK" rising sun.exe crashes. BTW, I don't see a Korean War.exe anywhere.

I tried several XP/98/95 compatibility settings and nothing worked.

Any ideas? I'm running Win 7 64 bit.

Thanks!

Hi, in Windows Explorer you should see Korean War.exe, as well as all the other exe's, will all say kworg, map, etc. If not, make sure in folder properties you are able to see all files. Did you download this recently? And did you put into a directory by itself? In my rig I have it under the John Tillers Campaign Series directory. If you don't see any korean war exe's, you have an older version!!

Mike -

I d/led this morning from your DropBox link above.

No executables with Korea in the name.

Warhorse -> RE: Korean War Mod (3/28/2015 8:36:50 PM)

Try this, it has been so long since I put that together! This is a link to the update, new Korean War exe's and other stuff. I thought I had made a new all-encompassing install, but may be wrong? When you unzipped, did it make a folder Korean War 2.0?

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/58654449/Korean%20War%20Update.zip

Let me know if this works, put it in via JSGME!!

HoustonAerosFan -> RE: Korean War Mod (3/28/2015 8:46:11 PM)

That fixed it! I had to make the folder myself.

Mucho gratis! (whatever...)

Warhorse -> RE: Korean War Mod (3/28/2015 8:49:47 PM)

Awesome, so you had to make the Korean War 2.0 folder? It should, when unzipping into say John Tillers Campaign Series, make a directory Korean War 2.0!! Anyhow, I think I will just make a new download of this, my apologies for the omission!!

Warhorse -> RE: Korean War Mod (1/10/2016 1:41:46 AM)

Hi,

Warhorse -> RE: Korean War Mod (1/17/2016 12:14:12 AM)

OK, Korean War 2.02 is out, as is for now, see the Blitz section in the top under mods for explanation!

Link-https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=69A4A7DDFA5B1A61!145&authkey=!ADx7jmmElo5QVCQ&ithint=file%2czip

Unzip into John Tillers Campaign Series folder, it will make a new one Korean War 2.02. Use the Korean War.exe to play, as well as the other kw exe's to use the map, org and scn editors.

Have fun!
