I looked on the screen with the victory point total and discovered I had been awarded a "major victory" in September 1944. I'd captured all the Marianas Islands, was besieging Manila and Surabaya, had captured Aparri and Batan Island as well as most of the PI south of Manila, while the British had advanced past Pegu in the SE Asia theater. The IJN was on the bottom; only escorts and subs were left.
For some reason I'd been expecting some kind of victory screen when you reached the required point total to win. Was there one and I just haven't seen it yet?
