GenChaos33 -> The Red Circle Attacks What? (1/2/2012 11:07:12 PM) Is it just me, or do Attack Fleets only attack enemy mining, research, resort stations (the small stuff) within the red circle. Do they ever attack enemy fleets or colonies within the red circle? I assumed they will, but have yet to see in happen. So far, it seems like the Red Attack Circle is more of a Raiding function. Maybe I just need to keep playing around with the settings? Or is attacking enemy fleets/colonies only done manually? Thanks.

(1/6/2012 1:06:40 PM) I believe they choose targets based on empire policy, so set fleets and colonies to a higher priority Also, I think they will only attack them when in a full-state of war, whereas outposts 'might' be attackable simply when no peace treaty exists... Note: Since I've not played for ages, this is just a guess
