Argos -> Sorry New to the Dark Side and Cant find Shinano (1/3/2012 9:50:02 PM)

And I cant find where I would go in the interface to turn off or accelerate ships for JPN. I did check manual but it references that you can do this (in 13. ) just not how too.

Thank You.

And truly, it is not the dark side. Playing as Japan represents the rising sun, coproperity, and the explusion of 19th century colonialism. You are the good guys grabbing destiny by the short hairs to right all that is wrong in Southest Asia.

Now, repeat that three times then go sink some old US battleships. It's fun!

thanks for the direction!

and aside from that little 'incident' in Nanking and a couple other blips (not sure what the Chinese and Koreans did to deserve my 'help') I am looking forward to the challenge and complexity of managing an empire at war while learning the details/capabilities of a whole new set of platforms....

+1 on Damien's two recommended threads. I also recommend checking out Damien's videos on handling the economic end of things via Tracker. They are found on the main forum page in the "Some Basic Training Video Tutorials".

Actually the first recommended thread was what lead me to trying to shut down the Shinano. Will follow up on the other threads and I have read a bunch of Mike Solli's recommendations over the years. Thanks for the encouragement (is there a secret club and password once you officially 'turn'?)

No, just a warm fuzzy feeling that your superiority complex when dealing with Allied fanboys is totally justified.

Masochism is fun!

Well, you do get a free Darth Vader Edition laser sword when losing the first battle with KB
without complaining...

Argos -> RE: Sorry New to the Dark Side and Cant find Shinano (1/4/2012 7:57:29 PM)

That warm fuzzy feeling sounds totally worth feeding the obsessive compulsive disorders with running an economy. Now I just have to get over my sentimental attachment to the Zuhio from 1275's AAR and I should be ready to start...

Yeah and don't forget the Bataan Death march and Nanking and ... point proven.
