I made a mistake in the last a few weeks when I left only a battalion and a base force at hyderabad(Sindh). The troops there were very vulnerable to air bombing. Hundreds of Japanese navy and army bombers at 6000ft literally eliminated the battalion and base force there and Japanese paras took it from air! It was way too easy to lose it to Japs. And this loss actually shorten the India Campaign by months. I should at least put a brigade there. So today the Japanese troops marched in to Karachi already. When your say your SCTF failed to cover your transports....what settings did you have them on? Was one following the other... or something to that sort?

I figure out that you have to use transports follow your SCTF. Other wise it is the transport engage with enemy SCTF first. Crappy setting though. If you use transports follow SCTF, your SCTF will engage first. My 2 cents.

I was driven to Clark field, Manila and Batan. That's the only bases hold in Philippine. I can't do much there because the airfields there were totally suppressed daily by Jap bombers. At 6000 ft they are very effective to suppress airfields not guarded by AA. And the supply level there is deteriorating. And by now Philippine is isolated from Australia because he has taken all DEI but Bandoeng at Java. Bandoeng is a giant POW camp with 50,000 Allied troops trapped there. Right now and it's running low in supplies due to the continues bombing. I would like to say that in a well dug base in Mountain terrain it shouldn't so easy to burn all the supplies by bombing. But I won't complain because in the future I'll use the same tactic to kick Jap's arse.
