Hello.

After an early surrender (August 41) Romania, RR bats does not automatically repair the railway USSR-Bucharest. Checked a lot of turns.
As expected, the battalions are allocated to the southern front and then AI frozen.
HQs do not to dispatch the construction units.

What version of the game are you using? Can you post a save for this where the Front HQ with the RR brigades is on a working rail and near the rail you want fixed. There may be something in the code that prevents Soviet rail repair units from working forward in 1941, or it just could be some inefficiency in the way rail repair units work. A save would help us get to the bottom of the issue. Are you seeing any rail repairs taking place anywhere on the map in your game? In later war scenarios I've seen them work for the Soviets, but also had some frustrations when they didn't want to repair rail in the Kuban and Crimea and preferred to repair other less important rails instead. Of course, later in the war you have the special rail repair units you can direct so you have some control over things. Seeing slow repair is intended, but seeing no repair sounds like a bug (unless again it's due to some undocumented time period block). If you can't post the save file, you can email it to 2by3@2by3games.com. Thanks.

Thank you for your prompt response. Your work is very advanced - have been many additions! I hope you have not forgotten about this annoying problem.

IIRC, Gary said there are blocks in the code to prevent repair forward in 1941.
