Guys

If the forcepool is altered do I have to get my opponent to do the same changes or does the data automaticly get transfered?

Sorry for such a basic Question

Regards

Yes -- both players should be using the same data files. You can create a separate directory for your modified files, so you don't have to overwrite the original game files, though. For example:

- Make a directory "MyMod" (or whatever name you wish) under the main install directory (usually C:\Matrix Games\Close Combat Last Stand Arnhem").

- Make a MyMod\Data\Base\ directory.

- Drop your modified force pool file in that directory.

- Make a shortcut for CCE.EXE to start the game with the command line option "/D MyMod".

- Start the game using the new shortcut.

The /D option will cause the game to load your modified MyMod\Data\Base files instead of the stock files in <install dir>\Data\Base. If a needed file is not present under \MyMod\ the stock file will be used.

If both you and your opponent have this setup, and use the /D option to start up the game, you'll be able to play multi-player with modified data files.

Thanks for that

Be aware that /D switch mods won't work on player matching sites like gameranger.

if you need or want to use Gameranger use ModSwap..

we are using Hamachi because there are no issues with ports and the connection is perfect everytime and for as long as you want
