Yes -- both players should be using the same data files. You can create a separate directory for your modified files, so you don't have to overwrite the original game files, though. For example: - Make a directory "MyMod" (or whatever name you wish) under the main install directory (usually C:\Matrix Games\Close Combat Last Stand Arnhem"). - Make a MyMod\Data\Base\ directory. - Drop your modified force pool file in that directory. - Make a shortcut for CCE.EXE to start the game with the command line option "/D MyMod". - Start the game using the new shortcut. The /D option will cause the game to load your modified MyMod\Data\Base files instead of the stock files in <install dir>\Data\Base. If a needed file is not present under \MyMod\ the stock file will be used. If both you and your opponent have this setup, and use the /D option to start up the game, you'll be able to play multi-player with modified data files.
