As soon as I looked at the map and the counters I felt like all those years ago when I was opening a new SPI 'monster' game[:)] I remember thinking then - wouldn't it be great if you didn't have to: - punch out hundreds of counters - try and find a space to lay out the map(s) - spend literally hours stacking carboard counters - get RSI with dice roll after dice roll [after calculating terrain, combined arms etc modifiers] - become schizophrenic when playing both sides - never finsih a game because the cat walked across the map [:@] or the space was needed for something else and it was "only a game" Thank you for fulfilling a young mans dreams [&o] I hope you youngsters know how lucky you are! [:'(] A great game nicely positioned to 'take a break' from WITE etc but with enough depth to ensure it stays on the hard drive for many plays. I'm sure that the developers will meet the usual Matrix standards with updates/patches/informative forums etc that will keep the game fresh. Talking of which - more AARs please, the best way to learn the game for us newies[:D]
