FOW -> Japan - Resources in the Home Islands (1/21/2012 10:21:51 PM)

Playing my first game as Japan (had to take the plunge eventually) but only against the AI to get to grips with the economy.

It's 3rd Jan 42 and I have an issue with resources on Honshu, currently 2.8M stored. Tracker is telling me I only have 25 days stock of resources (production 102K, need 213K, deficit 111K). As per Mike Solli's system, from notes in his current AAR, I've set up CS convoys from Hakodate (Hokkaido has a huge surplus - 1M) and Fusan and Port Arthur (Korea has a surplus). THese CS convoys have a capacity of 250K resources but they are not delivering 100K per day.

Q1 - Is this normal?
Q2 - Will the surplus resources on Kyushu move automatically across the straights to Honshu? (400K there)
Q3 - Anything else I should do until the major centres in the DEI are captured?
Q4 - Do I need to commit more Lima and Yuen N class xAKs to CS convoys at Port Arthur?

any guidance or link to an informative thread would be appreciated.

Cheers Damian, I should have remembered that link from the Tracker notes.

I am correct that resources & oil will transfer from Kyushu to Honshu, eventually?
