Did anyone ever encounter a plague that spread from 1 planet to the ENTIRE galaxy (All the planets as far as I can tell). And it did that in a matter of 1 in-game month. So is this some sort of a bug or am I (and not only me [:D]) just extremely unlucky?

And because all the planets are infected this is a never ending plague. As soon as it dies down on a planet it spreads to that planet again from the surrounding worlds.

I've never had it speard that far but I've had a half dozen planets trade it between themselves a dozen times or so. The planets populations crashed from billions to single digit millions.

Sounds very cool.  I would love to have that happen (in game, of course, not for reals!).

I ended the game there as the population of every empire was dropping by around a dozen billions per year. I might return to it and see how it plays in a galaxy where each planet only has 1 M of survivors and you cannot build ships any more. Perhaps this is AAR material [:D]

Heck yes!  In a great game (like DW) every disaster is simply an opportunity for awesome and unexpected things to happen.

Wow! Sounds great idea! It would look kind of like afther defeting Shakturi by Freedom Aliance by using this deadly virus. ;) But, will You have eoung patience to play such slow game? ;) Definietly a kind of AAR that I would like to read :)
