This was a “slow” turn – the B29’s and long range fighters rested for the most part. I rushed the turn, and in my haste forgot to change settings on all my planes in the PI. Oh well, it happens, too many toys. Initial plans for this turn will see my carriers departing from the area, as I now have the base and airfield. As I stand up on a mountain top like Liam Neeson in Clash of the Titans, I scream, “Release the Transports”!!!! and will use my C46 Commando’s to xport some units to Fukue-jima. I’ll probably do a quick re-org of my lba, as the last Japanese holdouts in the PI banzai-ed and were all wiped out. I think for today’s aar, I’ll just post the CR and my thoughts on it. I don’t really have the time today to filter it all out.
