It split into A and B, then went to A and South. A got 100% of the attached Construction Units.

B renames to AGS if you don't keep Rostov(115) during the logistics phase.

Neat. Do you mean " in any Logistics phase subsequent to the original split into A and B " ?

Yes, I see no time restriction for that.

Support Units will not flow "up" to the renamed AGS ( former AGB). For several turns I have left the Panzer groups and Armies subordinate to AGN, AGC, and AGS at SL zero and the AG's at 9. The other army group HQs have successfully sucked up all the SU's, but AGS has not, despite being in supply on a rail line, all subordinate HQs in an adjacent hex etc.

Is the re-re-named AGS HQ somehow different or penalized?

There is no difference.

Thanks, I guess it is a separate issue "why" this AGS will not accept Support Units from subordinate commands. It has been set a SL9 and everything subordinate at 0, but the SU's 'stop' at the three subordinate Army HQs. Essentiually I'm trying to redistribute Axis mobile SU's to mobile formations, and heavy and guns and pioneers to the Infantry, as suggested in several threads.

Hard to comment without knowing all the details, but sometimes SL 0 can cause that SU won't be able to assigned to the particular HQ and won't be passed down and up the chain. IOW, if you want that SU would "flow" via particular HQ it's SL should be non zero. Otherwise it will be able to give back only what it has.

Nice to know, thanks. Wish I had read the forums before I did my lasr German turn :)
