I am noticing in some Soviet 1941B rifle divisions that a listing for DD tanks exists ( with 0 tanks ) even though the DD tanks shouldn't even exist in the TOE. Shouldn't the listing disappear?

Why list a slot for no tanks if the tanks shouldn't be there?

Good question. I think it should have gone on OB upgrade. Can you attach save before the OB upgrade? Thanks.

I have no idea when that division upgraded; it was just something I randomly noticed. I do have saves from each turn so I can look for it though.

This may not be the only division it's happened to.

Maybe the division was frozen when the TOE upgrade happened.
At least I have two frozen unints in Transcaucasus M.D. showing the same behaviour.

Here is turn 17; the division converts to the 1941B TOE in the logistics phase between turn 17 and 18.

I sent some saves as well:
Frozen divs in transcaucasus md with empty equipment slots.
Some mots with empty slots converting to rifle divs.
The empty slot stayed while the filled tank slots were removed for the mot->rifle conversions.

Thanks guys, got the saves. These elements don't have any impact on the gameplay, but it doesn't look good either. Will try to fix it.

Could it be made a feature of the equipment upgrade function to remove empty non-TOE slots ?
That's also a problem related to the german mot divs of the 1941 campaign starting with non-TOE equipment I reported to Pavel some time ago - the non-TOE equipment (most often Flak guns) is removed but the empty slots stay.

Now i've noticed a 1941B tank brigade showing a slot for BT Artillery tanks, while the TOE does not have CS tanks.

The non-removal of empty equipment slots seems to apply only to non-TOE items, in a testgame a hungarian mountain brigade changed their motorcycle squads (TOE item) to rifle squads (upgrade path) and the motorcycle equipment slot was removed. So it does work, just not always.
