Turn 119 Overall Three more turns untill mud, hope to delay the USSR from reaching our main line before that, but it is hard to withstand the onslought in the open, but we will just keep reshuffling our forces, making the USSR attacking badly depleted units to save the combat ready ones for frontline duty at the German Line. The USSR launch no less than 66 attacks, scoring 7 helds, 47 retreats, 8 routs, 1 shatter and 1 surrender this turn. We only make one attack causing a retreat. Losses USSR : 97.000 troops, 924 guns, 462 AFVs, 497 AC. Axis : 77.000 troops, 1.648 guns, 135 AFVs, 14 AC. Most of our AFV losses are self propelled TDs. Units lost The 3rd Rumanian Infantry Division shatter, and the 1st Rumanian Mountain Division, the 387th German Infantry Division and the 83rd German Infantry Division surrenders. Pools Manpower : 644.693 Vehicle : 291.721 Armaments : 202.052 Hiwi : 189 Pest control Our forces pull back to the location of the lone partisan that shows up. Turn 120 Overall The USSR keeps pushing, but it is now clear that they will not make it to the German Line before mud sets in. Success! A total of 46 USSR attacks results in 4 helds, 38 retreats, 3 routs and 1 shatter. Our only attack only forced a mechanized corps to retreat, not rout as we hoped. Oh well cannot win them all I suppose. Losses USSR : 71.000 troops, 582 guns, 381 AFVs, 562 AC. Axis : 47.000 troops, 868 guns, 71 AFVs, 67 AC. Units lost The 35th Reserve Rumanian Infantry Division shatters. One less "enemy" unit to worry about in a few turns. Pools Manpower : 656.636 or about to 20 prewar divisions... Vehicle : 290.240 Armaments : 204.215 ok, so guess those 20 prewar divisions would have some issues with weapons... Hiwi : 1 Pest control One partisan shows up in the path of my troops that are falling back. As they realize that alot of German Panzers are closing in on them, they vanish. Turn 121 aka what did I miss... Overall So, the USSR flips Rumania, but they flip alot more, and all the Hungarians are kidnapped by aliens as well... A total of 47 USSR attacks results in 2 helds, 35 retreats and 10 routs. We make 1 attack and score a retreat. Losses USSR : 73.000 troops, 633 guns, 471 AFVs, 481 AC. Axis : 53.000 troops, 1.345 guns, 75 AFVs, 25 AC. Units lost All Rumanians and all Hungarians Pools Manpower : 918.435 Vehicle : 305.348 Armaments : 206.724 Hiwi : 4 Thougts New goal now, reach 1M manpower in the pool! You should have garrisoned Arad, that prevents the Hungarians from surrendering together with the Romanians. Now you better take up positions in those mountains.

Turn 122 aka Blessed mud Overall The USSR attacks as many places as possible before we are given a little rest during the mud period. All in all they launch 54 attacks, scoring 8 helds and 46 retreats. Losses USSR : 72.000 troops, 545 guns, 410 AFVs, 554 AC. Axis : 46.000 troops, 1.137 guns, 91 AFVs, 44 AC. Turn 123 Overall We keep pulling back, and our rail capacity is used to the max to redeploy, still most of our units are forced to walk on their feet, and not all are able to keep up, so I expect to lose a division next turn. But rather one division than several, so they are on their own. The USSR make one attack and score one surrender this turn. Losses USSR : 44.000 troops, 80 guns, 143 AFVs, 259 AC. Turn 124 Overall Still pulling back, trying to reform the armies, and discover that I really do not have enough divisions to cover the front as I would like. Should have dug in around Berlin instead... The USSR surround the slow moving unit from last turn. Well, will make them waste some MP atleast... Losses USSR : 36.000 troops, 34 guns, 123 AFVs, 236 AC. Axis : 10.000 troops, 6 guns, 19 AFVs, 5 AC. the units in the orange circle are some kind of "terje439's flying circus" in very different colors. will be a fun to reorganize them.:) but you have more then enough AP's. it's end of 43 and he is at the borders of poland. not good. you may lose berlin before 45 and so the war but you are realy made of some hard stuff to continue playing this "lost game". that earns respect. btw: i see that you have nearly 1 mio. men in your pool. can you keep disbanding any AT, ARTY, AA..units to get armament back to arm this poor guys? such a reinforcment for your front troops would give you a chance to hold the front for a while.

if you can send some mauled divisions 10+ hex behind the front (do you have the 10 hex for that?[;)]) and set them on refit they will suck men&guns from the pool. but you said it earlier that you don't have enough units to cover the whole front. at some point later in the war you should get a lot of new divisions with very low numbers. maybe you can send the guys to this units.

Turn 125 Overall The surrounded unit is attacked by the USSR and surrenders. Apart from that we reshuffle some divisions. go through which units are to be set to ready and which ones are to recieve reinforcements. We also disband 4 more fortified zones as more troops take up position on the line. Losses USSR : 37.000 troops, 66 guns, 113AFVs, 373 AC. Axis : 14.000 troops, 104 guns, 21 AFVs, 2AC. Units lost The 106th Infantry Division surrenders. Pools Manpower : 944.566 Vehicle : 280.721 Armaments : 216.682 Hiwi : 259 Slight concerns We lack some 600 AFVs to be at full strength, and we have about 220 in the pools, but of those some 190 are Tigers, which we have enough of at the frontline units allready. Turn 126 Overall Nothing new to report apart from huge holes in my lines. I could definitievely use another 20 or so divisions... One of our divisions were too slow when falling back and is surrounded this turn, and I even doubt they will fight on for months for the "Vaterland"...Those cowards! Losses Extremely light losses this turn. USSR : 35.000 troops, 57 guns, 123 AFVs, 247 AC. Axis : 6.000 troops, 12 guns, 20 AFVs, 4 AC. Units disbanded 17 fortified zones were disbanded this turn. Turn 127 Overall 2nd turn of snow, and I am still not completely back at the line, but we are getting there faster than the USSR anyway, although the USSR have made contact with our line on the Baltic coast. The line is looking better and better as more and more troops are occupying it, now if we can hold it through the winter it is nothing but a miracle I guess. Losses USSR : 30.000 troops, 50 guns, 138 AFVs, 227 AC. Axis : 11.000 troops, 97 guns, 18 AFVs, 2AC. Units lost The 389th infantry division surrenders to the Soviets.
