hoggrken -> HELP - want to reload purchased copy of HCE (2/23/2012 8:27:36 PM)

Hi to all of my fellow Harpooners. I have been a 'Harpoon' family member, since the Beta test days of HC97. Within the last year, I made an online purchase of 'Harpoon Commanders Edition' on my old netbook (1.0 GHz, Windows XP Home OS), which has since gone to 'computer heaven'. Seeing as how I did not 'back up' the HCE files to my external hard drive (silly me ...), I am curious as to how (or if) I can re-download HCE .. BTW, I can not find any info (eg - emails) as to when I purchased HCE or what service it may have been ... I know that it was not 'Esellerate' ... it may have been Digital River.

On another note ... reading about performance issues with the new generation Harpoon games (HCE and ANW) found in the Harpoon Ultimate Edition .. and not being a 'techie' person ... What compter configs or downloads do I need for my new laptop (WIN 7 Home Premuim O/S, 2.1 GHz, Intel I-3 CPU) in order to run HUCE, if I need to purchase it?

Thanks for any assistance, and it's good to be back! (BTW, I have sent a PM to Don Gilman with the same questions...)

Ken King.

Ken, if you are able to track down your serial number you'll stand a better chance of success.

A place to try is by logging in to the Member's Area at http://www.matrixgames.com/members/ and grabbing your list of serial numbers.  Mine is listed as Larry Bond's Harpoon - Commander's Edition ####-####-####-####.

If you are able to find that you can move on to the download, which should be Digital River.
https://www.findmyorder.com/ (sounds like you'd be on the e-mail address and last 5 of credit card plan).

With the serial number I'm sure we can get you the download, the SN will be the critical piece.
