i am playing the grand campaign, i am playing as germany, its august 1940 and i have declared war on norway. i have troops on landing crafts but when i try to disembark nothing happens. what am i doing wrong? i put the troops on landing crafts and the next turn moved them into the sea zone and then the next turn i tried to disembark. please help

I had the exact situation in Norway. Other areas all gave the indicated landing hexes but not Norway.

Norway has got very limited hexes where the landing can be performed.
Please be sure you are in the proper sea zone. Check around Oslo.

I playing UK and having an Amphibious transport in skagerack, been moving seazone by seazone all the way from narvik and down to try snatch a port in Norway from Germany. Been here a turn and still no possibility to invade. Is it WAD?
If so Germany dont need to garrison Norway. Saving up much needed troops elsewhere. So now I sending the invasion force home again.
Ooops got wrong transport, was sure I used amphibious transports. I will send another transport and report back if I cant find invasion place. I really like to capture the ungarrisoned Narvik, is it possible? Anyone tried it?

Just Captured an ungarrisoned Oslo. Got no problem. Another is on its way to Narvik no German ship seen yet.

Narvik also retaken. No German effort to hinder me. Do I need retake all cities to free Norway? They are all empty, no garrison. Partizans could take them back. ;)

Captured all Norway VP but still in Germany hands, trying now to capture all cities. Are there a VP outside the cities?

Now liberated all Nprwegien cities except Alta that is not a VP City. And havent captured the recource hex but thats bot VP either. Germany still in controll of all hexes around. WAD?

You can't 'liberate' Norway they are already annexed by Germany. Just take all the supply hexes and your controlled hexes will begin to spread. Conquered countries don't 'come back' If you take the ports and hold them that's all you need anyway. Well go get the resources I suppose but the country is 'under control' if you have all the ports. This is the same situation you will encounter in Poland or France retaking hexes. If you take all supply (including cities) your controlled area will expand. Retaking conquered territory is much like taking part of the enemy's own territory (unless there are some 'events' out there which get tripped. In which case anything could 'happen'.)

BTW do the hexes in Norway you control say 'owner' Germany; 'controller 'Great Britain'?
