(3/27/2012 11:35:51 PM) I'm in a Vietnam frame of mind lately, what with reading John T Smith's 'Rolling Thunder', Jack Broughton's 'Thud Ridge' and Philip Caputo's essential 'A Rumor of War'. Tonight I watched Apocalypse Now on Blu-Ray, and so I have to ask the question...with regards Modern Wars Vol 1 , are we plugged like a main circuit cable straight into Kurtz, or are we still only in Saigon ? On my end it had been a little slow due to other commitments (I was out of town for a month), but the other guys on the team have been playtesting and working on scenarios and graphics. Now I am back in the saddle and getting my turns out and returning to the scenarios I have committed to for Vietnam. Jason Petho

Its not as if we haven't got anything else to be getting on with out here - like my PBEM arse being handed to me currently at Antietam in JT's Battlegound ACW. But I'm also concerned that the subsequent promised updates to West Front, East Front, and Rising Sun are now pushed so far into the future as to be effectively: Never. Just askin'. I have six playtests of some Middle East scenarios on the go right now and one solo Vietnam game. So far the playtesting is very fruitful and the tweaks to the scenarios are producing some real gems.
