Thanks for that. Reading a bit more, it sounds like you're right - an official patch isn't far away. I've got a couple of 1.7.06 games going, so I think I'll wait for it. Sounds good though! Edit: Wow, and I just checked again, and it's been released. Talk about timing! [8D]

i'm using the latest patch, and although there is an button where you can select if the bases are automatically retrofitted, it still doesn't retrofit a base unless its at a colony. Not changed yet :(
