Squamry -> There are times when you just overdo it... (4/7/2012 12:24:45 PM)

Amongst all the disasters from one of my current games I was amused by the below attack I launched from the defenders of Bataan. Can't recall seeing odds that gruesome before.

Ground combat at Bataan (78,77)

Allied Deliberate attack

Attacking force 41337 troops, 717 guns, 663 vehicles, Assault Value = 1339

Defending force 675 troops, 0 guns, 101 vehicles, Assault Value = 57

Allied adjusted assault: 1002

Japanese adjusted defense: 1

Allied assault odds: 1002 to 1

Combat modifiers
Defender: terrain(+), leaders(+), preparation(-), supply(-)
Attacker:

Japanese ground losses:
Vehicles lost 70 (70 destroyed, 0 disabled)
Units destroyed 1

Allied ground losses:
59 casualties reported
Squads: 0 destroyed, 9 disabled
Non Combat: 1 destroyed, 2 disabled
Engineers: 0 destroyed, 2 disabled
Vehicles lost 16 (4 destroyed, 12 disabled)

Let me guess, tank unit arrived alone before infantry units?

Looks like it. Still awaiting the main bulk of stuff to turn up. Destroying one unit is a bonus.
