bo -> Rabul (4/13/2012 3:43:46 PM)

I have a question about supply for Rabul in the board game. Which sea, the Bismarck or the Coral could supply Rabul using the convoy system, or would both supply Rabul?

Bo

bo -> RE: Rabul (4/13/2012 7:51:53 PM)

Wow 51 looks and no answers, hmmmmm, now either its a dumb question [:-] which is not new for me. Or the 51 viewers have no idea what I am talking about because one, they don't have the board game or two, they dont know the rules.[&:] Or they are tired of talking about WIF or MWIF and would rather talk about war movies [;)] thanks posters.

Bo

Froonp -> RE: Rabul (4/13/2012 7:55:53 PM)

Answer is : both.

Froonp -> RE: Rabul (4/13/2012 7:57:01 PM)

And it is Rabaul, not Rabul.

I stand corrected Froonp but I sent you an e-mail on that subject of Rabaul, please answer it.

paulderynck -> RE: Rabul (4/17/2012 4:25:09 AM)

Except for the answer in Post #3. Less looks, more reading would help.

Joseignacio -> RE: Rabul (4/17/2012 8:21:06 AM)

I don't remember the situation of all cities by heart, so I could not tell without looking at a map, and my WIF set is packed at the storage room (although maybe I will soon unwrap it) [:)].

Maybe Rabaul is specially important, like Singapore is, for example, but we play Europe map only scenarios most of the times and I am not so strong in the asian map.

Extraneous -> RE: Rabul (4/17/2012 5:24:46 PM)

No need to go to storage use the link [;)]

Rabaul is in red.

Remember, the location of the port symbol is irrelevant; if you have a hex with a port that's adjacent to two sea areas (or three in the case of Truk and maybe somewhere else I'm blanking on) it's adjacent to both sea areas. Therefore, it can be supplied through either.

Where would you read that? I should not have asked that question my fault and I cannot disclose why I asked that question.

I think that Pauls post was in response to the post from harriet61 and not to your original post.

There was no disrespect aimed at Paul by me in any way I felt he had my back, Orm there is so much to learn here about this game, and I was really asking Paul if this was written somewhere where I could read up on it, nothing against Paul and I decided not to answer harriet61s dig. And I think you know why I asked that question and can't disclose why I asked it. I will never learn to shut up.[:-] oh well!

FYI guys

Harriet61 is a bot - it takes sentences from earlier posts and uses them itself. The post that paulderynck responded to was taken from Bo's first sentence of post no.2. Its done that on 6 or 7 threads now.

Hmmm... I got mad at a machine. [&:] Oh well, better than a real person.

Anyway, I only meant that Patrice answered the question already and the answer is that either sea zone could be used to provide supply. As to where to find this, it is in the rules as written for WiFFE (RAW7), in Section 2.4.2.

"SiF option 11: (limited overseas supply) You can only trace a supply path overseas if each sea area you trace it through contains a friendly convoy, TRS or AMPH.
From the coastal hex or port, you trace the supply path via any number of consecutive sea areas to a friendly controlled port which is a supply source itself or from which you can continue the supply path overland to a supply source."

Thank you Paul for the rule. Am I to understand this right that Harriet61 is a Bot. I did not think Bots could be sarcastic and nasty? Hmmmm I smell a rat. Crussdaddy is that you?

Its not being nasty or sarcastic - it just seems to pick up random sentences on random threads and posts them.
