Hi all
I've been playing a couple of games for a long time now, without significant issue. However, I recently started a new game which is plagued with problems. After some research, it appears about half the group are playing with the 1.08.07 verison of the game, but have patched over time through all the intermediate steps (i.e. 1.05.03 to 1.06 to 1.07 to 1.08, etc), while half have gone from version 1.00 to 1.08.07 with the latest patch in a single update. This game is having a couple of problems with a) GB diplomatic options being ignored, b) loaning money not working and c) movement being undone after a combat with the French.
This is the only game I am in with these problems. My other older games are going fine.
Is anyone else seeing this? Could it be the different patching routes is effecting the game? Other theories involve too many backups floating around.
