jgsIII -> WitP/WitPAE (5/4/2012 1:35:26 PM) I simply love the War in the Pacific series and how the game engine runs. Does Matrix have other titles that use the same type engine and maybe the same author? I have tried to look through the titles listed but it's too much information to sort through for my query. Thanks for your input...

Hertston -> RE: WitP/WitPAE (5/4/2012 1:56:36 PM) Same engine (more or less), 'Uncommon Valor' was the predecessor to WitP and does things on a slightly smaller scale. 'War Plan Orange' is WitP scale, based on a fictional 30's campaign in the Pacific with battleships still dominant. Different engine, same guys; War in the East and 'Gary Grigsby's War Between the States' which are 'new' games with self-evident subject matter, and 'Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich' which is a modernised version of a couple of late 90's games dealing with the WW2 air war in the West.
