Is there another manager in world football that looks less like a football manager than the Spanish boss? What do they say? Never judge a book by it's cover.....

He looks like a police inspector trying to resolve a murder [:D]

shunwick -> RE: European Championships (7/1/2012 9:40:59 PM)

Spain confirm their position as the best team on the planet at the moment. It was a quality performance.

warspite1 -> RE: European Championships (7/1/2012 9:41:51 PM)

Superb....

TulliusDetritus -> RE: European Championships (7/1/2012 9:45:16 PM)

And like minute 80, 3 - 0 I think, they were ATTACKING! Attack, attack, pass the ball, pass the ball, keep it, attack, attack, pass the ball...

Really boring... [:D]

LOL

Somebody needs to have two or three words with Balotelli about not being a sore loser.

shunwick -> RE: European Championships (7/1/2012 10:12:31 PM)

Congratulations to Redcoat!!! [&o][&o][&o]

Yay. I’ve won something for the first time ever. I’d like to thank my goldfish … who did so well in the group stages.

What has he done? I think the coach wanted to shake his hand and he did not stop. I think he was going to kiss his mom (no kidding, like after the match vs Germany). Still, rite, this guy could become the Italian Ronaldo (did I say I hate this guy? [:D]) aka a spoiled brat aka another football player on my blacklist! [sm=00000612.gif] ... [:)]

el mejor won, congrats to Spain.

warspite1 -> RE: European Championships (7/1/2012 10:26:25 PM)

There is a fine line between being a winner and not being happy with second best, and being a total arse head. I didn't see exactly what Balotelli did or didn't do, but let's face it, the guy is in arse head territory anyway.

british exil -> RE: European Championships (7/1/2012 10:48:48 PM)

He just left the pitch pushed passed the officals of the Italian team, did not congratulate the winners or stay behind with his team mate.

Maybe he is arrogant, maybe he needed time to collect himself.

But Spain were in a different league tonight. They totally dominated the pitch the 90 minutes.

They are the worthy winners of the Euro2012.

Was great playing here too.

Now we have to work out how to play the NFL season.

Mat

Terminus -> RE: European Championships (7/1/2012 10:51:21 PM)

It was a very beautiful game, no doubt about that. A fine finish to a good tournament.

Emilio -> RE: European Championships (7/1/2012 10:54:13 PM)

Oeeee, oeeee, oeeeee......

Too drunk to write more....
Congrats to Italy also. They did a fantastic game against Germany.

Yes, I said to rogo that I would have a go, if he had a go at our footie, so fairs fair. No idea about any of it, but given I came last in our competition, I guess that may not be a bad thing [:)]

Maybe u should think in alternatives. Like highjacking a certain fish, a goldfish. [;)]

Rasmus

P.S Considering there are up too 16 NFL games a week, maybe u should leave out the score part and concentrate on just the win/loss result. Remember that in certain weeks the first games are played on thursdays and not in others, when making a deadline for turning in predictions.

MikeGER -> RE: European Championships (7/1/2012 11:36:39 PM)

Congrats Spain !
Those first two goals were just 'out of this world' soccer-performance
[&o]
A well deserved Victory!
(...and i heavily doubt, if Germany had made it into the final, we could have 'steal' that victory from them, no way ...leider)

so all is well, best team won [:)]

warspite1 -> RE: European Championships (7/4/2012 7:22:53 AM)

......and Spurs appoint AVB. Of course this MAY be a genius appointment - but the disaster at Chelsea would suggest otherwise so why are Spurs taking the chance? Harumph [&:]

TulliusDetritus -> RE: European Championships (7/4/2012 2:28:54 PM)

OK, I want to be the first one to say it: the winner of the next big tournament thing -the World Cup in Brazil 2014 that is- is going to be................................. Brazil [8D]

Because I think they are the best team AND they play at home? No. A big NO in fact...

Simply because the non Brazilian team that dares win that 2014 WC are going to leave the country inside a coffin! [:D]

Time to wake up Steiner. The Championships are over now.

Yes but the domestic season is on (in Sweden) and is about to start in England.
