Hey Guys,
I checked the forum but I couldn't find this anywhere. I am playing a Gold Random game with -No Resources- after about 15 turns I am unabel to transport troops or move my mech forces due to no fuel. I have plenty of supply but when I look at the OIL graph (which I am not suppose to be using) I show zero oil where as when I started it was consistant for the entire game up until it drops to zero. Again, there are no resources. Any thoughts?

No resources just means none placed on the map, not that they wont be used.

I never play without resources because I think they add "historicity" (sort of), so you're saying that if there are none on the map your cities have to produce it? As in synthetic fuel?

Yup you got it, no resources just means youll be making all the resources in your cities.

So how can I play a game and not have to worry about resources? Like a classic game?

Not quite sure here but I think you have to check the "play classic AT" button when you start a new game. Or maybe it's called "original AT". So you're basically you're playing the old AT even if you have the new (and muchly improved IMHO) ATG.

You can change the masterfile, when you go to create a random game, somewhere theres a button, I think its after the options like Depleted World or Wild Lands or whatever it is. If you pick the old classic master file you wont have to worry about it.

Now in 2.11 version "use resources" works just like you were thinking.
