Not just an Arschloch, but ein dummes Arschloch... [:D]

Hello

It is a constructed language. So not real. The only real german word is the last one "arschloch" = asshole. But without any context.

Charles Chaplin did the same in his great Film The Great Dictator. There are some german words like „Wiener Schnitzel“, „Sauerkraut“, „Blitzkrieg“, „straff“, „Leberwurst“.

Wow, then I have to be some sort of genius [:D] Until today I only knew "jawohl mein Fuhrer" and "Ich bin ein Berliner" (JFK's famous words) [8D] Not kidding.

carlkay58 -> RE: OT: Translation Please?? (6/29/2012 11:43:39 PM)

How about "Ein sprechen nicht Duestch - sprechen zie English?" or "Ein gulash souppe und ein coke bitte" - the two phrases that allowed me to survive for three weeks in Bavaria!

Even better "Zwei bier bitte, mein freund wird bezahlen." ( something like that ) :) Though in Bayern I think they said "zwo" rather than "zwei".

Hello

I think you are smarte than you pretend and know more than you show :) To be humorously and ingenious is a evidence of smartness.

When I read what I wrote here I think I am only a brown-noser ;)

For many people the first words of a foreign language are often cuss words.

This is indeed true in my case! I guess many people can't help it... Put let's say a parrot's cage outside. What will many passerbies do (no matter the age and gender)? They will say some bad word, hoping that the parrot is going to learn it... [sm=00000622.gif]

I own an African Grey parrot and the first three words she learned were cuss words (during the Stanley Cup playoffs a few years back).

Rufus T. Firefly -> RE: OT: Translation Please?? (6/30/2012 9:37:42 PM)

Parrots live a very long time you know. I remember a few years ago their was a story going around the internet about someone who had (supposedly) bought or been willed Churchill's parrot. The Parrot's favorite phrase was "**** Hitler!" . [:D] Don't know if it's true, but it's a great story never the less.

Edit: I have to learn a few tricks here. Didn't know that the board with auto replace F_ _K with astericks.

LOL

I take it the team you supported was losing big time! [8D] Is this the parrot? [:D]
