Try Halsey's site. It has Japanese LCUs and ships.

For the only IJN ship sides that I know of, try BigB's shipyard in the locked out art link thread.

another question...will ship art designed for the original war in the pacifc work for admirals edition as well as long as you make sure that the correct bitmap is used? i know that there were lots of changes in admirals edition including new artwork and renumbering of bitmaps?

Yep, done it and it works fine. There was no change in the art itself between the game and the expansion. IF you add new art, just number it as the next in line and be sure everything matches up.

If you are going to do extensive renumbering and moving art around, I would suggest you look ant the Art Display Suite of utilities I wrote a while back.

An index and screen shots can be found here... http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/fb.asp?m=2972466

These utilities extract unit data from the scenario files and display your currently installed art for those units in a web browser. Very handy for picking up errors and omissions.

Got DaBabes installed?? Not a problem. Just make sure you specify the correct scenario number when you generate the HTML file.

Best of Luck...
