I will flesh this out a bit better in coming days, it is late at night now though and I want to crawl into bed! But first, some stuff I have been working on, woohoo! I have gone back to my shipyard after a very long break! [image]http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/5/31/2462189/shipPreview.jpg[/image] A Jintu is a rodent species known to exist in the DW Universe. I hope that it will be included in the DW Extended mod someday! It lives on Ice planets and gets eaten by the native wildlife (check your Galactopedias, it really is in there somewhere under one of the luxury resources). Now, no laughing, here he is... oh okay go on laugh [:D] [image]http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/5/31/2462189/jintupreview.jpg[/image] I have two new galaxy backdrops specially made for Spiral galaxies, I will try to post these soon I don't have any screenshots of them yet though.

So they will be very cautious and distrastful since they used to be prey. Ships look nice, but they make me think of an insect race [:'(].

You nailed it Woodman! Those ships look crazy good. But the race of space lemurs don't do them justice. I can imagine the ships belonging to an insect race of some sort ^^ Anyways outstanding work, I'm very glad you're working on your shipyards again XD

lol, just to clarify, the ships and the Jintu have nothing to do with each other, I just wanted to put all my stuff in one thread I can update over time [:D] I don't know what Jintu ships would look like, something like the Teekans I would guess [:)] Thanks very much and glad you liked them!

I did like 'Revenge of the Sith', but what I did not like was that it reversed everything. It made Darth Vader look like a cry baby. And it made clone troopers look like a credible fighting force

Woodman - I LOVE that cute race and the ships for it. Any chance you'll release it soon? That would be a perfect addition the core game.

Hey jpin! Glad you like the Jintu, the ships were intended for another (unknown) race. I hope to do some more Distant Worlds modding soon, proabably after the release of the next expansion. I've been a bit busy with modding for another game recently [:)]
