PeeDub -> Colonies in galactic storm (7/16/2012 4:47:51 PM) Anyone know how to deal with these? Is there any technology that will allow you to build anything there? (I needed the colony because it had existing population and because it extended my colonization range.)

Dracus -> RE: Colonies in galactic storm (7/17/2012 12:33:35 AM) Shield regen tech can allow you to keep something in orbit without it dying but the only way I have managed to build anything in a storm is with construction ships that have heavy shield regen. I never fully looked into this so I can not say if a planet can build a base and have it survive with shielding, nor can I say how the private ships handle visiting such a world.
