Ok this can or can't be done light hearted. The choice is up to any who might join in.
I want to play a game of good signs bad signs. The idea being to offer Good signs your game rocks, or Bad signs and maybe we should just stone it.
Make it nice or nasty, heck I don't really care hehe.
Ok my thread so I am stealing the more obvious and easy comments hehe.
Good Signs
1. Your game is sold out in pre orders even before it's released to the market.
2. Its all the rage on all the forums.
3. It inspires its own sub forum.
4. You never hear the word "bug" or the term "AI" in comments about this came seemingly.
5. Latest version number is indicative this game won't die.
6. You have heard the complaint, this game is to hard (nice for a change eh).
7. Yes admittedly odd, but the game is so cool its easily found pirated.
8. No one has noticed the price tag (yes I know this contradicts 7).
9. This game is even spoken of favourably by people that don;'t like this type of game.
Bad Signs
1. Your game tanks 1st week of its release
2. Only reason people are talking about it on all the forums, is to complain about "what's wrong with it".
3. Even the lovin in forums want things changed.
4. Latest patch number indicates designer should learn to program or spend more time thinking about design before sayng it's done.
5. Game is so lame you can't give it away to gamers.
6. Game is shunned even by the genres most fanatic players.
Ok can any of you guys add to this list?
