Instead they striked at surface ships. -Any comments (of course the battle isn´t over, but -I will remain on station to kill the surviving carriers). -Any comments???

In the following two days the USN carrier force pounded the remains of IJN CV´s. In the third day they retreated because the flleing IJN carriers were getting into a "Betty land". Final results: IJN: 3 carriers sunk (Zuikaku, Shokaku and Ryujo) USN: 1 CV moderate damage (Wasp-29 sys, 22 flood-decreasing-fire controlled) Any comments?

Always have a surface TF set to follow my carrier TFs. They act as cannon fodder for enemy airstrikes, and also give me a force good for following up victory (with an Admiral that would be useful for the task). It has been a big help.
