capthook -> Looking for a serious, aggressive Japanese player for full campaign game (8/29/2012 3:30:48 PM)

I've been playing WitP since it first came out. Played a couple of PBEM games in the old WitP, this would be my first AE PBEM game. Its a big commitment and I am looking for someone who is willing to go until the end of 1943 at the very least. I'd say I am experienced as far as understanding the game's systems, not so experienced dealing with human aggression. That's where you come in. I would enjoy a generally historical game but I don't mind if the Japanese player want to be very aggressive or try alternative strategies (invade Canada if you want - I won't cry.) As long as the first turn is reasonably historical. One port attack on turn one and turn one invasions should be generally close to historical. Unless you want to turn off first turn surprise, then you can port strike anywhere you want. 1 day turns - I can usually do 1 a day, sometime 2 or 3, sometimes none. Depends on how our schedules work out. Fog of War - on Player defined upgrades - on Realistic r&d - on Advanced Weather - on Reliable USN torps - off No unit w/d - off Auto sub ops - off All Facilities expand - off Auto upgrade - off Accept air/ground replace - off Combat anim. - on Combat sum - on Variable reinforcements - +/- 15 days House rules - I'm open. I'm willing to adjust if something seems gamey as we go along. The main HR to me is that PPs be paid for any restricted units that cross borders. No strategic bombing in or from China before 1943. Allies (me) will only issue turn one orders to TF at sea, Chinese LCUs and the formation of cargo TFs at a few bases (gotta get those cases of whiskey to the Pearl Harbor 'O' club!)
