(looked if anyone else posted on this if so sorry)

A little kickstarter RTS that might interest some of the Matrix community. Basically Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander and any other features you ever wanted into it! (I NEED IT!)

kickstarter/projects/659943965/planetary-annihilation-a-next-generation-rts
If the donations hit 1.8 million we get Galactic War. Also there is still a 5th stretch goal to hit.

(for some reason I can't directly link things and I don't know why...?)

Don't think he's a spammer (based on the join date and his previous posts). Posting info on a game other gamers might be interested is a good thing usually (IMHO).

On a side note, I just bought into my first Kickstarter project (MORE, an aspiring successor to MOO2).

Josh -> RE: Planetary Annihilation (9/8/2012 7:04:24 PM)

Well there are some very promising projects on Kickstarter (Wasteland 2 anyone?) , besides Total Annihilation was a great game, so maybe this one deserves some donations as well.
By the way, I love Indie games, lots and lots of them on Steam, some are truelly gems [&o]

Jeff- I'm not a robot bebop [:'(] I own Distant Worlds and all the expansion and soon the new one too.

Just trying to bring peoples attention to this up coming kickstarter. I'm pretty sure there are some untapped fans in the matrix forum, just bring info to them. [;)]

Good to know Hawawaa, in 2 years if you are still around posting I will apologize.

Hello Community,

As a creator of "M.O.R.E." I've wanted to inform this forum community about our project... but my topic was deleted :(
But it's nice, that we have supporters ( uncc ) here :)
In invite you to visit our project on kickstarter website.

he has already been around for two years. I think he deserves and apology now.

People really need to stop and think before shouting out spam I feel. You only have to check the join date to know and the post count.

1.8 Million? Is that dollars? How much does it take to make a game?[X(]

Hawawaa -> RE: Planetary Annihilation (9/11/2012 1:09:58 AM)

Its ok I'll live.

von- They hit their goal of 900k for the base game, each new milestone they add another big game feature to the list (like navy and water planets, gas planets and orbital units, lava and metal planets, soon to have galactic war...) 1.8m is for 4th additional feature with a unknown 5th milestone and feature (will hear more soon on that).

Ya also M.O.R.E is another good one to look at if you have a tbs MOO2 itch.

vonRocko -> RE: Planetary Annihilation (9/11/2012 4:55:28 AM)

Let me see if I got this right. It cost $900,000 to produce the base game, then roughly $200,000 a feature. I'm just amazed these indie games cost so much to produce.[;)]

IdeaLCenter -> RE: Planetary Annihilation (9/13/2012 9:56:41 AM)

We aren't so expensive ;) Our goal is $50.000 only ;)

vonRocko -> RE: Planetary Annihilation (9/13/2012 3:33:06 PM)

Now that sounds more reasonable. $200,000 to add "gas planets" to planetary annihilation smells like pure greed to me, and has turned me off on the game.
