In battle is there any advantage in having 2+ generals in your army? Are their command points combined?
If not then I would say its a disadvantage because if your decisivly defeated you'll loose both generals! (i think that's right)

By the way congratulations - every move & counter move of the AI is a fasinating challenge. Deux ex Machina - there really is a ghost in this machine!!

There is no advantage to having two (or more) generals together in tactical battles. The highest command rating is used, or the command rating of the currently active general is used if he is present at the battle. The command ratings of any other generals are ignored. And you are right, all generals on a side are killed if their force is completely destroyed.

Of course, sometimes you will want to have two generals together for reasons of strategy. [8D]

So - beware of putting all your eggs in one basket!
