i think im unable to post the rest of the stalingrad pbem until i get back to my apartment and my own internet connection

neither the matrix board or my hotmail account are letting me attach anything over about 50-100kb

i got my IP through the firewall but theres something about the connection here thats making it virtually impossible to attach anything

im out of ideas

sorry for further destroying your faith in me gary

i guess until i figure this out the games on hiatus

im kind of in the middle of a life crisis right now too

so maybe we should just call this off

i dont want to disappoint you any more

Testing with CL zip 522kb. Seems to be working fine. I was testing a theory that thread length may be limiting file attachments.

i seem to be having trouble attaching anything over 500-600 kb

but that's common knowledge

after all my drama about trouble with attachments i finally gained the upper hand and figured out what settings in the cable modem were screwing everything up

:D

now all i need is to take stalingrad :rolleyes:

Yes Static the upload limitation for users is ~500kb, it may allow as high as 550-600kb, but not much more.

Reporting live from Stalingrade. Our troops continue with their epic struggle unfortunatly they all to scarred to do anything and are retreating yet again. The men seem to have lost their backbone again. We will perservier.


Editorial Note:
Hey Jess has this game been playtested in PBEM? It seems that the Germans have overwhelming forces? Add the experience and moral difference in the troops and the effect is devistating. I am running into situations where Russian MG infantry are firing all 4 of their weapons at range one at a German infantry that moved next to it and no damage is being done. Kind of frustrating. Then the GE fires back and my Russian will retreat out of entrenchment.
