Lawyerboy -> Old Scenario Problem [again] (9/14/2012 6:37:47 PM)

I have 4 ancient TOAW Scenarios [probably from the first version] which I have tried everything I know to convert for use to version 3.2-- without success. Would anyone be willing to give it a try? The problem children are: Drive on Port Arthur, Franco Thai-War, Leyte 44 and Richmond 39. Thanx

Lawyerboy,

I can help with Drive on Port Arthur and Richmond 39. I am sending these in TOAW III format to you via PM. If you send me Franco Thai-War and Leyte 44 I will see what I can do about converting them although I cannot promise anything soon. I have a project going to collect and preserve all the old scenarios before they are lost forever. See the TOAW III Catalogue Project and the Legacy Project over at Gamesquad.

Best wishes,
Steve

PS, Latest version of TOAW III is 3.4 by the way.

Thank you for the assist. I would be glad to fwd the Leyte and Thai War but couldnt reply by private message. There is no hurry whatever on a possible conversion. They have been stored on an old laptop for several years. I have version 3.4 but am still getting used to it and have continued to play 3.2. I believe I have every version and every and update of TOAW back to the very first one. I also have archived many scenarios, TOAW maps, and utilities that appeared then vanished over the years so I will go over to Game Squad and see what you have listed. Maybe I can help out. By the way, I have played both Leyte and Thai War so I had the right set up at one time but have not been able to find it again. Let me know how I can get them to you... Thanks again.[&o]
