First task of the new Polish government, loyal to USSR, is forming 2nd Polish Army. Since only a small part of Poland is in Soviet hands, the army will form in Kishinev, far to the south. The recruits will also require a thorough "political" education, so it's better to isolate them from their countrymen. The army consists of 1 tank corps, 6 infantry divisions, 1 tank brigade, 2 at brigades, and 1 engineer brigade. Several new Soviet support units will join the army, as well as few experienced support units sent from 1st Polish Army, to bring this formation to the standard of its Red Army counterparts. It is estimated that the army will be ready in four months. An uprising starts in Warsaw. The rebels claim it's against the Germans, but everyone in Moscow knows it's against the Soviet Union. The orders from Politburo are clear, the scheme to be used is the same as the one used when liberating "Western Belarussia" and "Western Ukraine", where the Polish Home Army launched "Operation Tempest". Red Army's frontline units are to cooperate with the Poles during battles to oust the Germans, but after the German forces retreat, they have to hand the Poles over to NKVD, which will "take care" of them. Officers will be shot or sent to Siberia, while the privates will have a choice to redeem themselves in the 2nd Polish Army. More cannon fodder is always useful. General-Maior Mikhail Gromov replaces General-Leitenant Pavel Stepanov as new Transcaucasus Air Command leader. Transcaucasus Front commander, Kliment Voroshilov, improves his morale skill (8). 35th Army commander, Filipp Zhmachenko, improves his initiative (6). 2nd Tank Army is renamed 2nd Guards Tank Army. 87th Rifle Corps is formed.
