On freewargamer there is a game called "Battle Command." Its WW2. Is it any good? Does anyone know anything about it? Sorry if this is off-topic.

He is at present making an AI...I alos got him in touch with Matrix..did all the ground work..only for him to then turn around and say he didn't think it was commercially viable...so was a touch annoyed.

The UI etc is terrible...the game oozes potential and if he makes an AI that works (He said to me he could make one better than Panther Games) it will be a great game.

Oh, that one - had train wreck written all over it - wonder what made you think this was going somewhere.

Well the actual game is superb once you manage to get someone to play against. Really is a fantastic game with loads of potential. With an AI I'd snap it up straight away. It has many of the features people want from future Panther Games.

It's just having to launch to seperate programmes to play it, then having to play hotseat doesn't do it for me.

Wargamer many years ago gave it a good write up and you had to pay for it then, which i did.

Anyway I think he is still making an AI. As I said I had alot of email correspondence going on with Mark and then managed to get him and Matrix together (as I think Matrix could have helped loads with the UI etc). I believe Matrix could see the potential aswell, but Mark turned around and said he didn't think it would be commercially viable! Talk about shooting yourself in the foot aswell as making all the running around I did for him a total waste of time. I promptly stopped helping him.
