What is the latest word on the new game from Jo Wood, author of Panzer Elite?

Type?

Availability?

Hmmm 3 strikes, is this baseball?

The guy that made Panzer Caws made Panzer Elite (if I am wrong correct me).

If he made Panzer Elite he doesn't know nearly enough about making software that runs correctly (if I am wrong correct me).

I have heard soooooo many nice things about Panzer Elite, and then the poster adds "if you can get past all the bugs".

For me I will take a flaky but functional game over one that has crappy programing any time.

I checked the Panzer Claws box - not made by Jo Wood/Panzer Elite.

No, I haven't changed my mind about PE.

On the one hand, I guess it's good Panzer Claws was not made by the PE guy.

On the other hand, I think the fact you can't find PE out there for sale in the usual locations I find past due date wargames, is possibly the biggest indication how undesirable it really is.

I would have to say, that PE is talked of like the no front teeth girl friend that stutters. But man she fills out that bikini. Bit dopey too.

If you want a cool looking game, yes PE was the game demo that got me even interested in looking for tank driving wargames in the first place.

But I am glad you corrected me about the creator of Panzer Claws.

Panzer Claws:

It has the 3D isometric view which I hate.

It has colourful graphics which seem to be directed at children

It has “resource gathering” which I hate too.

It is not a game for military enthusiast. It could hook children on the military aspects and they would I hope mature into wargamers.

I never really detected the "resource gathering" feature initially.

I never play resource gathering wargames, primarily because I only worry about resources at the grand strategy level.

Gathering resources at the Panzer Claws level, disqualifies them as wargames period. This will annoy of course some people. But like I am going to let that bother me?
