I run this on a low spec Lenovo.
Runs demo fine; grinds a little on the bigger scenarios.
But still playable.

HI, I just bought it but it doesn't run smoothly on my relatively old machine. In fact I was unable to play. Very hard to move the map and after a couple of minutes the whole system froze.

Any suggestion apart buying a new computer ?

It is important to turn off the option to show borders between areas, which considerably speeds up the game, even on high-end systems.
