Hi,

I currently have version 1.06.14 beta installed.

Running the game updater from the main game menu I consistently get the attached error.

Probably a temporary server/connection problem or you accidentally blocked the updater via Firewall.

No, I have disabled the firewall. It's not a connection problem at my end, every other program I have connects to the internet fine. I can play WITE, load/save games, connect via IE, Firefox, Dropbox, etc, no problems.

With connection problem I meant from your side through your ISP to Matrixgames severs, I just started the update program from my WitE and it gets a connection.

I've tried 4 different ISPs on 2 different machines, it's not working for any of them.

Is it a CDN thing? Is anyone else in this part of the world (Australia) able to get a connection?

I have never been able to download a patch via the in-game mechanism, and in fact it is very difficult for me to download them via my browser from Matrix's site. I have to use Microsoft Explorer and only from work. Nothing works from home. Weird, but I live in Moscow so I figure someone is blocking something somewhere.

Sounds like your ISP is blocking some specific ports the updater tries to communicate through. Alternate download: http://www.matrixgames.com/products/372/downloads/
