Was replaying the 1914-1918 campaign last night. Me as the Central Powers. Another late night cause' I kept saying -- just one more turn, just one more turn -- than I'll go to bed. I got to the point where Russia was ready to throw in the towel again. This time I managed it by summer of 1916. I accepted surrender -- saved the game, than went to bed.

This morning -- while in the shower and contemplating my toes thoughtfully -- I started wondering what would have happened if I hadn't excepted the Russian surrender.

So what does happen? Is there any advantage to be gained by the Central Powers if they decide to keep fighting in Russia?

Not really. The only advantage might be to capture more cities in an attempt to boost your PP production, but your gains will be very small, and usually the need to redirect your troops to other fronts is urgent.

Ok. Thanks.
