Lady and Gentlemen I know that, with 4-5 exceptions, the beauty contests over on the General Discussion forum have not been your bag. Fair enough. However, I hope I have something on offer that is more to the liking of the navy-knowledgable people here. Like the thread title says, I am looking for the most beautiful ships of WWII. The first category up for grabs is the most beautiful of the Fast Battleships. There are two groups of three, and I am looking for 1 vote per person in each group please. If you fancy it, please drop by the Australian Beauties thread and cast your vote. Note: we are talking aesthetics only here - not war record.

Yamato class gets my vote. Something that big with clean lines and still looks like a Battleship
