Jazzbo -> Soviet Airforce Question (12/10/2012 9:21:18 PM)

I've been waiting for years for WITE. Great game. Someday I'll figure out which version.

I am playing the Axis campaign against the AI for the first time. It's January 42 and the Soviets are showing up with hundreds of fighters and bombers to support ground attacks. Is this normal? I haven't seen anything like it in the AARs I've been reading.

Looking forward to pbem when life becomes less complicated.

I have fewer sorties in my PBEM, but when they happen they are all 200-400 planes strong. That's June'42 though, in winter I was busy reorganizing the Red Army and didn't have much opportunities for combat.

Its possible. The Soviet player is producing 500+ airplanes a turn by that time.

But they are crap of course. Currently I have a 2.7:1 loss ratio (though on one week, the Luftwaffe had higher casualties than Red Air Force!).

Thank you for the replies. I think I'll peruse its few remaining factories to see what could be in the works.
