Hi there...... i am new with this game and the forum, i just bought the game 2 days before! I am running on Windows7 with 8 GB RAM and a quit good grafic-card! So the problem is, after i finished a round i get the message that "WiTE Application is not functioning any more" - The program is searching for a solution! The games work without any troubles when i play the first round, but when i want to safe/ or continue the game, the KI is starting and then the "Error-Box" is appearing! Can anybody help me ? The latest public beta is out, so update is a must. Also try to run it as 'Administrator'. Klink, Oberst

Game is updateded and i also reinstalled it twice! Also i tryed it to run as admin......same problem! I also get the same error-message on my laptop!

In the upper left of your screen shot I see War in the East 1.04.36 which is not the latest version. I believe you should see 1.06.04 which was the last official update.

The first screen shot was taken, after i reinstalled the game! Version number is now 1.06.06 !! As you can see now, same problem!

Please try again with auto-save set to Off. Something may interfere here like a hyper-active anti-virus program.

great thanks! looks like, this was the issue! i just tryed it out with 3 fast rounds and it works now ! will test ist tomorrow in detail! by the way, i use kasperky security suit! regards sascha

Kaspersky - Urg. Ressource hog and indeed known for some hyperactivity. You should be able to exclude the game folder from scanning but don't ask me where in all these submenus.

I used Kasperski (recurring license) for almost three years and man, am I happy that one day out of sheer anger I pulled the plug and got rid of it. It felt like a computer upgrade to double performance.

Its not Kaspersky - i deactivated it completly and i still have the issue when i try to safe a game! I can now play without any problems, because i switched off the "autosave", but when i want to safe the game by myself, it comes to the same error!!!

The "disable" button in Kaspersky is usually a misnomer as it's not really disabled then. Several (background) scanning functions may still be active. You may want to test a situation with Kaspersky deinstalled (backup/note your license key for reinstall) - best use your Laptop with LAN/WLAN disabled.
