My son loves those fighiting robots. He has a lot of the Mechwarrior robots and games, and he loved the Transformers too.
Where is the robot in the picture?

tomomo1996 -> RE: Japanese People Battle tomomo(J) vs Mr. J(A) (1/20/2013 2:28:39 AM)

There is this robot in odaiba of Tokyo. This is a photograph of 2010. It was a time-limited plan, but display was reopened.

This robot is called Gundam. It is a robot most popular in Japan. Just similar to Star Trek is popular. There is the fan such as Trekkie, too. The transformer is popular, too, but the popularity of Gundam exceeds it. As for this model, it was sold hundreds of millions.

I am a hangover. [:(][:(][:(][:(][:(][:(]

I never got an aching head from drinking but I hated the way my body and stomach felt after too much drink, so now I only have 2-3 drinks maximum before I start drinking lots of water to help my body handle the alcohol. I enjoy myself much more when I know what I am doing and can remember everything in the morning!

tomomo1996 -> RE: Japanese People Battle tomomo(J) vs Mr. J(A) (2/14/2013 10:54:04 AM)

I was busy. And I was poor physical health.
Please be careful about health.[:(]

The game is June, 1942.
When homework piles up, I want to run away.
lol

I am glad to hear from you again Tomomo. [:)]
I hope your health will improve. Don't worry about doing your AAR homework if you are busy and tired! [:-]

Awesome - Mechwarriors meet Cloverfield monsters! Maybe Japan will have to bring Gundam out of retirement!

tomomo1996 -> RE: Japanese People Battle tomomo(J) vs Mr. J(A) (2/15/2013 10:36:44 AM)

AAR is written a little late.[:)]

Now, I saw the trailer.
I am reminded of Godzilla than Gundam.
The Godzilla series have many movies, but there is the thing fighting the machine.
It is called "Mecha-Godzilla".

I think that the technique of Hollywood is splendid. It is more splendid than Japan.
However, "Pacific Rim" thought that it was not the design which got a Japanese heart.
Please search the Mecha-Godzilla. That is the design for the Japanese market. The Japanese market is like the Galapagos Islands.
Japanese sense is weird.

However, I think that this movie becomes popular in Japan. It is not because a robot is cool. This is because a 9-year-old girl called Mana Ashida publicizes it. She is great in Japan is popular. Because she appears in Hollywood, the Japanese will go to look.
lol

:China

We had big fights in March in China.
I am Napoleon.
I carry out a dangerous strategy such as “Defeat in detail”.

I put damaged units in Nanyang after battle of the river.
He put military units in river.
And there is spy units in NE of Nanyang.
He can watch my units.
However, he cannot see whether it is damaged.
I concentrate to units in Wuchang, and I go for offensive in the west.
It takes time so that unit arrives at Changsha even if he notices.
I take advantage of this time.
I return the entire army to Nanyang again if he attacks it in Nanyang.
Or if I sacrifice Nanyang, I charge in the west.

It is a dangerous strategy.

However, this strategy succeeded.
My damage was big, too, but his damage is bigger.
but, Napoleon loses finally…

BBfanboy -> RE: Japanese People Battle tomomo(J) vs Mr. J(A) (2/17/2013 4:21:24 PM)

Wow! You have hit him with heavy losses. Most of your casualties were just disabled, and can be recovered with rest and supply. Many of the Chinese casualties were destroyed squads. They cannot be replaced quickly because China lacks supply. Well done! [&o]

Now you must take Kweiyang to open the roads to Chungking and Kunming. Take Kunming first to close off his supply from Burma.
It does not matter if his armies from the river fall back to Ichang - it has no great value if you have Changteh, to block him from easy movement back to Chungking.

Cpt Sherwood -> RE: Japanese People Battle tomomo(J) vs Mr. J(A) (2/17/2013 4:24:32 PM)

Looks like a great advertisement for stacking limits.

That is staggering losses for the Allies, it would seem that China is going to be a Japanese Vassal.

I did not notice Burma importance first. I did not understand the rules of the English manual. I thought that only BURMA ROAD carried supply. I think the rule of supply is difficult. Because I was late invaded Burma.

Some this AAR is late, and I capture Kunming now. There are a lot of factories in Kunming. But, I do not yet capture Paoshan and Tsuyung. Do I have to capture them to stop supply?

I write the details later again.

The big stack is fraught with the danger. I am glad of success. However, big stack may be surrounded. I write it later.

BBfanboy -> RE: Japanese People Battle tomomo(J) vs Mr. J(A) (2/23/2013 6:04:34 AM)

There is a road from Tsuyung to the plains near Chungking. You must take Tsuyung to close that end of the Burma road.
You can also close it from the other end by taking Lashio and Bhamo, or by taking Paoshan. You do not have to close both ends of the road.

I understand it.

You must use your bombers to attack his troops in clear terrain hexes like the two west of Amoy, and at Ichang.
Bring your tanks into those areas and attack regardless of odds. In clear terrain and without anti-tank weapons, he cannot hurt them much. Try not to use your tanks in the forests and mountains, unless you have a lot of infantry with them.

Oh, tank is weak in mountains. I understood that even this game was so.
This game is complicated. I run tanks along the way and use it in many places.

I mainly used the tank on plains, but sometimes went to mountains and the forests. The tank is very convenient...
