It's because; Dear Players, CCS is once again offline. This is due to the website taking up too much CPU power on a shared server. Once the website passed a certain threshhold, the host disabled the site for the health of the server. This happened a few other times in January and February which I thought I fixed. The problem is definetly not too many Close Combat players accessing the site. The site is routinely scanned, let me rephrase, bombarded by scripts. These scripts check for vulnerabilities in the website software. The bombardment is heavy enough to lag the eight core CPU. This website's software is unable to properly deal with those requests. I am searching for a new host for CCS currently. It it pretty frustrating to be in this position because operating the technical aspects of a website are no longer my hobby. I will be moving back to a dedicated platform which will be more expensive. CCS will be down for an extended period this time while I search for the new right home for the website, thats the right price. I apologize for the downtime and inconvienence to you all.MOOXE
