ORIGINAL: David The Great The units are air units, the game is currently 15 jan 42, i have to withdraw some bomber units bolo's in this case, they are stationed at SF and the withdraw button is greyed out. Disbanding LCU's at SF seems to work for certain units, not all. Is just disbanding the air units counted as withdrawing them or do i have to wait until jan 16 ? Greetings David Disbanding is withdrawing when the withdraw button is greyed out. The most normal reason is the unit is going to the ETO forever. Usually there is a (P) on the top line, indicating the unit is a Permanent withdrawl from the theater. Some withdrawn units come back later in the war and don't have the (P). A permanent disband means the planes don't go into your replacement pools. They're physically gone from the game. If you can't disband the unit at SF, or anywhere, the usual reason is you have fragments at another base or bases. Press the OOB button on the unit screen and it will tell you where all the planes are located at that moment. Move them all to SF, or just together, and you should be able to disband. You can always (usually?) disband air unit fragments anywhere. So if you are fragmented, disband the fragments first and then you should be able to disband the parent
