modrow -> Point of attack 2.5 / supremacy at sea (1/17/2013 10:17:01 PM)

Gentlemen,

I recently stumbled across the fact that HPS has recently updated point of attack 2. My impression so far was that point of attack2 might not yet be a pleasing gaming experience (whereas, as a reference point, WITP-AE is the most pleasing gaming experience I know). Are there any opinions about the game and the new update ?

Also, supremacy at sea was a title that always sounded tempting, but not yet ripe for picking. Any comments on recent developments re. that game?

Thanks for your appreciated feedback

Hartwig

Leave POA 2.5..I'm working closely with Scott on TU..which still needs lots of work..but due to illness etc Scott is very frustrated with the progress..also the code is a nightmare the slightest thing can take a couple of months to implement.

POA does work though it just suffers from lack of scenarios..hopefully when ADC3 is finished (about 75% complete) more maps will be made for it.

wodin -

Great to see you. I rarely visit this forum - but will try to change that.

I have POA2 and Tigers Unleashed - both are absolutely First Class. I tend to design my own scenarios - so that is not an issue. Glad to see that AD3 is still in the works.

HPS is another very fine wargamer's company - and will always have my support.

Also, although a bit off topic, I read Storm of Steel and Death's Men, both from the WW1 recommended reading list. Was not disappointed - two excellent titles.

Take Care, Sir.

Mac
