As US player I understand what the Amph Force HQ is for and I know that an AGC will help it's TF - I would like to know if having more than one AGC in a single TF means even faster unloading or does one AGC max out the benefit?

AFAIK the bonus does not stack, also the bonus comes from the HQ, not the AGC carrying it.
So, the only obvious advantage of multiple AGCs would be to make the amphib HQ less exposed to annihilation
in case an AGC gets attacked.

Also, to my knowledge it suffices if the HQ is in the Hex, same TF is not required. I could be wrong thoug.

Edit: oooops misread the thread title. Please disregard.

Disregarded.

Read post #12 in this thread to get the exact operation of amphibious force/AGC.

http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2799794&mpage=1&key=agc

1. The presence of an Amphibious Force on board an AGC ship at the invasion hex, will extend the unloading bonus to all other task forces unloading.

2. A task force with an AGC ship in it, itself gets an unloading bonus but the other unloading task forces without an embedded AGC ship do not gain the bonus. The AGC unload bonus is gained even if there is no Amphibious Force on the AGC.

Alfred,

I had read that post carefully prior to posting so my question is to your #2 - is their an added bonus to having more than one AGC (w/o Force HQ) in a given TF?

Thanks,

Mike
