I have started to write a series of articles on fishing, and would like some feedback. If you have any interest in fishing, or if you are bored and have a bit of time on your hands, please check it out.

http://www.squidoo.com/cobia-ling-how-to-catch all other articles I have currently written on fishing are accessed through the links near the bottom of the page. If you catch any serious grammatical errors or typos, or think that something could be written/explained more clearly leave me a message either here or on the page itself. Thanks in advance, Glen

Excellent and informative writing gmoney. Most of my fishing has always been fresh water, and the few times I have ventured onto salt water I have never caught nor fished for this beautiful creature. Thanks for the article.

glad you enjoyed it. My goal when writing these articles is to enable people like yourself, who have no experience, to be able to read the article and then go catch the fish. Maybe next time you get out on the big lake you can catch a cobia-they are damn good eating fish.

We are planning a Gulf water outing this summer. I am going to follow your advice, thanks.

let me know what kind of fish you want to catch and where you will be fishing from and I can give you more tips. Let me know a few days in advance though as I will be working on a charter boat again this season and won't have a lot of free time.

Links to the other articles, maybe some of you who live near the coast will find them helpful

I'll be adding more articles as time permits, to include some freshwater species as well

This one is a bit different, it deals with an idiotic policy set in motion by our government. In a nutshell, the government is destroying critical reef habitat through a misguided policy of removing old oil/gas platforms, and killing millions of fish in the process. In the article are links to a petition to halt the Idle Iron policy.

If anyone comes to Destin this summer and wants to go out on a charter boat PM me and I'll give you the booking number for the boat I work on. It's called the SURE THING and we are running our first trip on Sat-a 12 hour jack fishing trip. I can't guarantee fish but I promise you'll have a good time.
